Jun 11 - Take a local bus out to the National Museum of Natural Science. There are several buildings, but the only one we pay to enter hosts interactive science exhibits, and a detailed hands-on experience about how semiconductors work.
The floor on planetary science is fun for Odette but is a bit dated, and some of the activities no longer work.
There is a downpour, which ends as we wait around, allowing us to continue on to the botanical garden.
Walk south from the museum complexes down a narrow park area called Taizhongkeboguanqian Park. This is just a walkway displaying the timeline of evolution, denoted by stone inlays of various representative animals starting with tiny marine organisms.
Then a bus back to our general district and a long walk along another channeled river that has been converted into a park. It is called Liuchuan Riverside Park.
