    Day 44: Lagos

July 7 - Walk some back roads to Meia Beach, on the eastern side of Lagos. This area is much calmer, without the crowds that hang around the Lagos beaches.

Going back to Lagos from here ends up being cheaper by Bolt than by public bus, and much faster. We go to the cliffs that we looked at by kayak a few days ago, and go down the steep stairways to have a look. Every one of them is crammed with people.

The only one that wasn’t full of beachgoers, because of the seaweed soup filling the shallows.

The same rocks as above, but seen from beach level. We didn’t stay long, considering there was nowhere to lay down a beach towel.
