    Day 50: Évora

July 13 - More walking today, though really don’t accomplish of lot of sightseeing per se. Go by the Evora Public Gardens, where there are peacocks, and enter the old Palacio de Dom Miguel, which has been converted into a museum focused on the history of Evora and the surrounding district. The second floor is dedicated to two Neolithic sites nearby that are some of the best in Iberia. However, I did not consider either of them for a tour because access is only by car.

Nearby the museum are ‘fake ruins’, called so because they were assembled from pieces of old buidlings around town in an inventive way.
