Apr 14 - Arrive at bus station at 9:43, on a bus by 9:45. The touts are really efficient here. About four hours to Bintulu, through terrain similar to what we’ve seen before. The most exciting part is the rest stop, where Odette notes several large dead insects on the floor. I spend most of the time writing.
Bintulu is not dissimilar to Sibu. Many large, mismatched buildings and active storefronts. Our hotel looks kind of fancy, but was same price as everywhere else here I’ve booked.
