    Day 385: Miri

Apr 23 - Started out today with big plans to see Niah Caves. However, today is one of the final days of Ramadan and nothing can be confirmed regarding park openings and transport. Decide to abort, not wanting to be stuck at Niah Caves Junction looking for transport. Consider going to Lambir NP, but Janet doesn’t want to brave the leeches and the taxi ride there will prove expensive.

End up going to the much closer Miri Crocodile Farm.

The big crocodiles were all in the main staging area at the front of the park.

Back in Miri, we have a taxi drop us at a local restaurant serving a specialty of this area called laksa. It is a noodle dish with shrimp and red sauce.

Laksa. This was the best meal I had all week.
