    MAY 2 - Walk east of town into what I guess is best described as the suburbs of Vaasa.

    Not so much different in appearance than a suburban street in the US.

    Back in this housing development was Edvin’s Path (Edvinin Taudepuisto), a quiet forest path along which a large number of metal and wood artworks have been placed. Many of them relate to stories.

    Back in town, stop by the Rewell Shopping Center, find some lunch, and look for a winter hat for Odette (her old one unraveled). Then, to Odette’s joy, we find the town’s main library. The children’s section is quite large and has a number of books in English.
